| SNUNIT BEN-OZER, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Ben-Ozer has been in private practice in the greater
Los Angeles area since 1996. She is recognized for her nationally
ranking pregnancy success rates, surgical skills and commitment
to educating physicians, patients and the public. Dr. Ben-Ozer
is Board-certified in both Reproductive Endocrinology &
Infertility (REI) and Obstetrics & Gynecology and is an
Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA. Her knowledge and expertise
uniquely allow her to utilize the full range of medical and
surgical therapies currently available. Accessibility to patients,
and a desire to communicate and educate, allows Dr. Ben-Ozer’s
patients to be involved in their treatment plans. Her warm
nature and caring have resulted in lasting friendships with
patients.
Dr. Ben-Ozer completed her education and training at some
of the most highly regarded programs in the country. She received
her Medical Doctorate degree from the University of Michigan
School of Medicine, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed
a Transitional Medicine internship at William Beaumont Hospital
in Royal Oak, Michigan, followed by a residency in Obstetrics
and Gynecology at the University Hospitals of Cleveland (formerly
Case Western Reserve University) under the tutelage of Dr.
Wulf Utian, a world-renowned menopause authority, who founded
the North American Menopause Society. Under Dr. Samuel Yen,
a founder of the field of Reproductive Endocrinology, Dr.
Ben-Ozer completed a fellowship in REI at the University of
California, San Diego. Dr. Ben-Ozer was Board-certified in
Obstetrics & Gynecology in 1997 and in Reproductive Endocrinology
& Infertility in 2001.
Dr. Ben-Ozer’s training is buttressed by over eight
years of clinical expertise in Assisted Reproductive Technologies
(ART), ovulation induction, and surgery. Thus, she can uniquely
utilize the full therapeutic continuum for her patients. Her
nationally ranked pregnancy rates with ART, IVF, GIFT and
ZIFT, and success with less technologically challenging treatment
options, reflect her expertise and compassion.
Dr. Ben-Ozer has published a chapter, abstracts and articles
in medical and lay publications and presented her research
in meetings. Dr. Ben-Ozer is working on an article for a medical
journal, as well as collaborating on a book with a possible
DVD about the challenges facing women and couples conquering
infertility. Dr. Ben-Ozer has appeared on national television
and on the radio, and has lectured about infertility. |
